Welcome to the blog for the Harvard Avenue College/Career Ministry!

HACM is a ministry of Harvard Avenue Baptist Church in Siloam Springs, Arkansas (home of John Brown University). Our mission is to connect all young adults to Christ, His community, and His calling:

  • Connect to  Christ
    • Equip students with a foundational understanding of the Gospel and the Christian faith
    • Invite people into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Connect to  Community
    • Foster relationships between college students and the larger HABC family
    • Encourage students to exercise their spiritual gifts in HABC ministry capacities
  • Connect to  Calling
    • Provide opportunities for evangelism and service locally, nationally, and internationally
    • Help students develop a lifelong passion for sharing the Gospel

Our young adults are actively involved in various areas of church life at HABC. We have many who serve in children’s ministry, student ministry, and worship ministry. Our goal is for young adults to thrive spiritually, intellectually, and emotionally as they make the transition to adulthood. If you are in the Siloam Springs area, we would love to have you join us for worship!

“…we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.” – Paul, Colossians 1:9-14 (ESV)
